Snow will continue Sunday afternoon for Steinbach and area with anywhere from 3 to 7 centimeters. The west wind at 15 to 30 km/h is blowing the loose snow around and that is reducing visibility. 

Highways are partly snow covered with blowing and drifting snow. Expect reduced visibility in traffic. As of 11am on Sunday, visibility was reported as fair in the Southeast. Click here for current road conditions

It will be partly cloudy for the evening with a chance of late-night snow showers. The wind will diminish overnight, and the temperature will reach –13 with a wind chill of –18. 

Monday will bring a mix of sun and cloud along with cooler temperatures. The mercury will dip to –21 in the afternoon with a wind chill of –30. There is a risk of frostbite in the afternoon. 

It will get colder as the evening progresses with an overnight low of –28. 

More snow is expected on Tuesday.
