Smoke seen billowing out the Eastman Recycling Services building

There appears to be a substantial fire at the Eastman Recycling Service building in Steinbach.

Thick black smoke could be seen billowing out of the building shortly before noon Monday.

Emergency services are currently dealing with the situation. The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage is not yet known.

We will have more information as it becomes available. 

This isn't the first time there has been a fire at the facility. Firefighters extinguished a blaze in 2017.
