A Christmas concert in Ste. Anne is expected to raise quite a bit for the local hamper project.
This is a new fundraiser for the Knights of Columbus. And the idea came from Colombe Kehler, a woman who lives in Ste. Anne. She says it makes sense to have a bilingual Christmas concert to help make this a better Christmas for many local families who need some extra help during the holidays. 5 choirs are expected to perform on Sunday, December 10th at 2pm in the Ste. Anne Catholic Church. Kehler hopes to fill the benches, as well as the donation boxes. There's no admission fee, but we're asked to bring a donation, either monetary, food, or a new toy. Over 50 Christmas hampers are needed for the town and R.M. of Ste. Anne.
