The Hanover School Division is disappointed in the Public Schools Finance Board for not coming through with the necessary space.

Superintendent John Peters says it had promised to have a new portable classroom installed at Green Valley School in Grunthal in time for the start of school.  However, the company in Winkler, contracted to build portables for the province, did not get the job done.  It could be January before the classroom is in place.  Peters says that has left Green Valley scrambling to find space.  He expects they may have to use the basement for classes on a temporary basis.
