The Eastman Selects gave up three third period goals and dropped a 6-3 decision to the Pembina Valley Hawks on Wednesday night in Morden. Donovan Reimer and Alex Tetrault scored second period power play goals for the Selects who trailed 2-0 after the first period and 3-2 after forty minutes. Thomas Lenchyshyn scored the final Eastman goal with 2:23 remaining in the third period. Selects goaltender Ryan Miner faced 39 shots. Eastman (9-20-1) is in the Manitoba "AAA" Midget Hockey League's East Division cellar. The Selects are four points back of the fifth place Kenora Thistles. Eastman's next game is Wednesday, January 4th against the Interlake Lightning in Beausejour.
