Sales are winding down for members of the Manitoba Christmas Tree Growers Association.
Dan Friesen from Timber Trails Tree Farm near Steinbach is President of the association. He says there was an average quality crop for sale this year. The wet weather the past two years and then the dry conditions this year has affected their growing season. The Scotch Pine was the most popular tree purchased this year. Most growers have more of them available than the White Spruce.
