The Reeve for the RM Reynolds says they hope to hire new administrators within the next couple of months.

RM of Reynolds municipal office in Hadashville

Back on October 25th, the day after the municipal election, Yann Boissonneault resigned from his position as CAO. The following week, Assistant CAO Brigitte Klem resigned as well. Boissonneault was hired in October of 2017 not long after current reeve Trudy Turchyn was fired as CAO. According to Turchyn, the reason they resigned remains a mystery.

"They didn't give any reason," explains Turchyn so says the municipality is now "just moving forward".

"I'll just say we were not surprised," was Turchyn's reaction to the resignation of both Reynolds' administrators.

Turchyn says council held a special meeting on November 8 and hired retired CAO Marion Grogan and former finance officer Wendy Kozmak, to act as CAO and Assistant CAO in the interim. Turchyn notes they will be advertising for a new CAO very shortly and once that person is hired, they will look to hire a permanent Assistant CAO as well.
