A pocket park and founders cairn were unveiled at a dedication ceremony Saturday afternoon.
There's a new park in Steinbach.  Rresthaven Care Services unveiled a pocket park and founders cairn on Kroeker Avenue Saturday afternoon.  Roughly 50 people were on hand for the park's official opening.  Ernie Penner approached Resthaven roughly a year ago proposing the idea of the founders cairn.  He tells us it was a way for him to honour his father.  Resthaven is celebrating it's 60th anniversary this weekend.  A new name, logo and corporate strategy will be unveiled Sunday.
