What a story Mona Stott has. Her son Joey committed suicide in 2007 and she's been on a mission ever since to raise the awareness of mental health issues and suicide prevention. I love it when she stops by the studio. Her stories are all so near and dear to her heart and above all - she is real. She just wants to erase the stigma behind mental health issues and that is one of the main goals of "Imagine". I am honored to be emcee'ing the event -- and I hope you will come. You can register for the 5 km, 10km or the half marathon right up until 8:15 a.m. tomorrow morning. If you're not a runner or a walker -- just come to Niverville, enjoy the atmosphere and support a great thing. Thank you Mona for inspiring us and opening up so that we have the freedom to do the same. The forecast for tomorrow is sunny and warm -- just perfect!! See you there!
