Police responded to an alleged assault over the weekend in La Broquerie.
According to Steinbach RCMP, they were notified Sunday at 7:16 pm.
As a result, a 30-year-old male from Churchill faces charges of assault on a 36-year-old female from La Broquerie.
No further details have been made available.
