The Steinbach Pistons gave up three second period goals and dropped a 5-2 decision to the Portage Terriers. Cole Brunet and Matthew Gamblin did the goal scoring for the Pistons. Steinbach goaltender Brendan Edie stopped 32 shots. Lac du Bonnet's Brent Wold had a goal and an assist for the defending Turnbull Trophy champions who scored twice with the manadvantage. The Pistons are 3-6 and tied for fourth place with the Winnipeg Saints in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League's Addison Division. Steinbach will meet the Winnipeg Blues on Thursday at MTS Iceplex.
