The Steinbach Pistons dropped a 4-3 decision to Swan Valley Stampeders in shoot out Friday night.  The night was a special event for the team as it donned pink jerseys in support of breast cancer research.  Coach Rich Gosselin says it's a great cause.

He adds the players played hard.  "Wish the outcome would have been different but we got some new guys in the lineup.  We're trying to get as many guys as we can to be able to put a team on the ice.  We got quite a few new guys
and we have some young players and you got to give our team an 'A' for effort tonight."
With a number of injured players, Gosselin shares his plan for the game against Winkler on Sunday.  "It's a long season and as long as our guys are working hard and sticking to the game plan, everybody's going to have some injuries and at some point during the season there are going to be some teams that are struggling.  We need to stay as positive as we can and move on.  Every team in this league is a good team, if you don't come ready to play and you don't play your best game you are not going to win.  But if we get prepared and play hard we will get better."
