The Steinbach Pistons will play their third of five pre-season games tonight when they meet the Winnipeg Blues at the T.G. Smith Centre. The Pistons lost their exhibition opener 5-4 to the Winnipeg Saints and then beat the Selkirk Steelers 3-2 in overtime.
AM 1250's Voice of the Pistons Kevin Geisheimer asked Steinbach head coach Rich Gosselin to comment on the players who have joined the hockey club after spending the past week at Western Hockey League camps.
The Pistons will meet the Blues on Friday at MTS Iceplex and then play their pre-season finale on Saturday in Selkirk against the Steelers. Steinbach will open the 2011-2012 Manitoba Junior Hockey League season at home on Friday, September 16th against the Dauphin Kings.
