The Steinbach Pistons dropped a 4-3 overtime decision to the Steelers in Selkirk. Regan Stire scored the winner at 3:55 of the extra period for the Steelers. Matthew Francyzk had a pair of goals for the Pistons. Brant Henry-Norton had the other Steinbach goal. Pistons goaltender Zach Rakochy stopped 41 shots including all 19 he faced in the opening 20 minutes. Friday's game was the first for Steinbach interim head coach Paul Dyck. He replaced Rich Gosselin who resigned on Thursday. The Pistons, who are in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League's Addison Division cellar with an 11-22-4 record, will face the Steelers on Sunday at the T.G. Smith Centre.
