The two players acquired in the trade that sent Russell Trudeau to the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League's Melville Millionaires played big roles in the Steinbach Pistons victory over the Portage Terriers on Wednesday night at the T.G. Smith Centre.

Zach Rakochy stopped 33 shots and Mark Owen scored the insurance goal 1:55 into the second period as the Pistons blanked the defending Manitoba Junior Hockey League champions 2-0. Oliver McCluskey also scored for Steinbach. The Pistons, who will host the Winkler Flyers on Friday afternoon, outshot the Terriers 47-33.

AM 1250's Voice of the Pistons Kevin Geisheimer asked Steinbach goaltender Zach Rakochy to talk about his shutout.

Portage Terriers forward and Steinbach native Brendan Harms was selected to play for Team West at the Canadian Junior Hockey League Prospects Game this weekend in Langley, British Columbia.
