MTS announced plans Wednesday to add 30 digital cellular sites this year. La Broquerie and Vita were the only two communities from the southeast to make the list. Hovorka says that's not good enough. He admits there's a chance cell reception will improve in Piney as a result of these two towers but says it won't be nearly good enough.
