A vet clinic in Steinbach is urging us to check what we are feeding our cats and dogs.Dr. Dale McKague from Pet Vet says Menu Foods has recalled over 60 million cans and pouches of wet food products from 90 different brands.  The tainted food is suspected to have led to the deaths of a number of cats and dogs in the United States.  Dr. McKague urges us to go menufoods.com to find out if our pets are being fed these products.  If you have been feeding your pet some of the recalled products, some signs to look for that they may be experiencing kidney problems are drinking or urinating more, vommiting and diarrhea.  Dr. McKague says while he hasn't heard of any pets in Canada dying so far from the tainted food he believes it is inevitable we will see some cases.
