Recreation Opportunities for Children, ROC Eastman, will be travelling to a few communities on Saturday, October 15th with a trailer full of sporting equipment and activity supplies.

These items have been donated to the organization and are being offered to children with no cost involved.

Executive Director Moni Loewen says they will be in Niverville from 9:30am to 10:30am at the Community Resource and Recreation Centre. Then, they will travel to Grunthal from 11:15am to 12:15pm at the Grunthal Lumber Parking Lot. The third stop is in Vita where they will offer supplies at the Farmer’s Market Parking Lot. The fourth and final stop of the day will be in Sprague from 3pm to 4pm at the Community Centre Parking Lot.

Loewen says they are excited to share sporting equipment and activity supplies at no cost. This opportunity is for all children with no sign-up requirements.

ROC Eastman is also accepting donations at these community visits.

These donations will be brought to the northern region on Saturday, October 29th. The first stop of the day will be in Beausejour from 9am to 10am. Then the trailer of donations will be in Lac du Bonnet from 11am to 12m. The final stop of that day will be in Powerview-Pine Falls from 1pm to 2pm

“It is a ton of fun,” Loewen says about the Community Days. “Please come say ‘hi.’”
