The new Ste. Anne Co-op gas bar in Steinbach is going to be state of the art.
It's going up along Highway #12 north at the site of the former gas bar. The plan is to have it open by mid-October. Assistant General Manager Henry Nickel says the gas bar will be larger than the one on Brandt Street.
There will be 16 fueling spots and the convenience store will be 3 times the size with new features such as a fresh food section. Nickel says their customers can't wait until it's done because they are missing the service at the north end of the city.
