A crossing gate and light will be put up at the railway crossing where Provincial Road 210 becomes Seine Road in the Town of Ste. Anne.

Mayor Richard Pelletier says the railway crossing has been a concern, and is looking forward to the installation of the gate and light in November. “There have been a few accidents there, and we've been asking CN for better safety at that crossing.”

As far as the cost of the project, Mayor Pelletier says, “The town is working together with the R.M. and CN Rail to share the cost of the project and the maintenance of it.”

The crossing currently has a crossbuck sign indicating the railway crossing.
