Dave Schettler

Blumenort School will have a new principal this fall.  Hanover Superintendent Ken Klassen says a vacancy was left when Ed Neufeld was chosen to be the Principal of Clearspring Middle School.  "So we advertised that position and one of our own principals went for it.  We are pleased to announce Dave Schettler, current Principal of Landmark Elementary School, will be moving to Blumenort next year."

"Dave is a great choice for Blumenort," Klassen says.  "He has lived in Kleefeld most of his life and has worked in local hockey in communities like Mitchell.  The last number of years he has been the principal in Landmark so he has good knowledge of rural areas in Hanover School Division.  He is very active in the community and I think he will be a great fit in Blumenort."

Klassen notes with Schettler leaving Landmark, the board will have the job of now looking for his replacement.
