A woman from La Broquerie faces charges of impaired driving after slamming her car into two parked vehicles last night.

At 9:44 pm, Steinbach RCMP, Steinbach Fire Department and EMS were dispatched to a motor vehicle collision on McKenzie Avenue in the city.

When crews arrived, they discovered a westbound car had collided with two parked vehicles. 

During the investigation, officers became suspicious that the driver was under the influence and utilized a roadside screening device. The driver blew a 'fail' and was arrested for impaired operation. She was taken back to the RCMP detachment for further breath samples.

A 35-year-old female from La Broquerie now faces charges of impaired operation of a conveyance and impaired operation of a conveyance of 80 while operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
