Steinbach RCMP continue to investigate a crash that happened Tuesday evening in the city.

At approximately six o'clock, emergency crews were called to McKenzie Avenue near Steinbach Regional Secondary School. It was a single vehicle collision, with the vehicle striking a tree.

According to police, the driver got out of the vehicle and then fled the scene. It was later discovered that the vehicle had been stolen from the Rural Municipality of La Broquerie.
