The Office of the Fire Commissioner (OFC) has provided a few more details from this morning's mobile home fire in the Rural Municipality of Hanover.

The Hanover Fire Department responded to the call at 12:30 am. They were dispatched to Road 35E, northeast of Steinbach and when crews arrived the mobile home was engulfed in flames.

Fire Chief Paul Wiebe says the young family was able to escape without injury, however the home is a total loss.

The OFC has investigated, and the cause of the fire has been classified as 'undetermined.' According to the OFC, damage is estimated at $200,000.
