A resident of Kleefeld has been charged in connection with a serious assault in Winnipeg early Sunday morning.  30 year-old Keith James McCowan is facing charges of break, enter and aggravated assault.  Police report a man broke into an apartment on Henderson Highway at 4:30 Sunday morning and beat up the occupant.  The victim, Zdzislaw Jim Luzny, remains in critical condition.
