More and more Manitobans are buying their vehicles from down south. It appears the strong Canadian dollar continues to draw Manitoba shoppers into the U.S. Larry Conn is director for Canada Border Services Agency in Manitoba. He says the amount of goods purchased in the U.S. and brought back to Manitoba has doubled in three years.  Conn says they've seen a huge increase in purchases of cars, trucks, trailers, motorhomes and motorcycles.
