Sick children and visitors at the Bethesda Hospital in Steinbach will benefit from a local fundraiser this week.
McHappy day takes place on Wednesday.  McDonald's Owner Chris Erickson tells us the hospital's Pediatric Ward will get a couple of portable video carts paid for by the event.  Each cart will have a new TV, DVD and Playstation.  He adds his staff chose to support Bethesda Hospital again this year and notes its an annual favorite.  Bethesda Facility Manager Madeline Baril says this is an important resource because it pays for things the hospital cannot get from provincial funding.  The goal is to raise $10,000 which should be enough for two carts.
