Potato growers continue to monitor fields for late blight.

The disease has been found in the southern part of Pembina County in northeast North Dakota. Pembina County is adjacent to the Manitoba and Minnesota borders, close to Manitoba's most southern potato growing area.

So far, no late blight has been found in Manitoba.

The disease affected much of the province's potato crop last year, after inoculum was introduced early in the season through tomato seedlings at greenhouses.
