Carolyn Peters and Roger Blatz stopped by this morning to talk about this year's Community Christmas Hampers program and how they are anticipating a record breaking year for numbers of hampers requested. Hamper applications deadline is November 30th and they're working hard at staying on top of the many applications coming in.  Register for a Christmas Hamper here. 

If you're looking for ways to participate they have a few different ways you can be involved in this years program:

  • The annual Toys Days toy drive is in exactly two weeks where anyone can participate by donating a new unwrapped toy at Canadian Tire December 4 and 5 
  • You can also donate directly to Community Christmas at their website or write a cheque and drop it off or mail it to the SouthEast Helping Hands office at 525 Main St, Steinbach, MB R5G 0L5 .
  • You could also drive and deliver hampers later in December. If this is something you'd like to do you can register online at the Steinbach Community Christmas website.
