He's the first person to announce his intention to run for trustee on the Hanover School Board this October.  Randy Hildebrand is a father of 2 young children and pastor of youth at Steinbach Mennonite Church.  For these reasons he feels his voice will be a valuable contribution to the board's work.
There will be at least one new face on the board this fall because the division is currently short one trustee following the resignation of John Janzen last November.  Hildebrand's first priority is working to reduce class sizes.  He would also like to have more transparency from the board by having more public discussions on major issues, a new middle school in Steinbach and a strengthened role for parent councils in the election process.  Hildebrand also wants to help strengthen partnerships between trustees, administration and staff in the division.  Ultimately he wants what is best for our children and to help students be the best they can be.
