According to the latest Farmland Values Report from Farm Credit Canada, the average value of farmland in Manitoba increased by 2.4 percent during the first half of 2011.

This follows increases of 1.3 and 3.4 percent in the previous two six-month periods.

Comparatively, the average value of Canadian farmland increased by 7.4 percent with Saskatchewan seeing an 11.6 percent jump in value.
