Winkler is celebrating its centennial today with an attempt to break a world record. There's just no stopping the organizers of the world record harvest for kids.  Organizer Ray Wieler says they are still planning to fire up the combines at 2:30 as scheduled.  He says they didn't receive as much rain at the site as we did in Steinbach.  Wieler says they will test the swaths closer to 2:30.  He says if needs be, they will delay the event up to an hour to allow the crop to dry more.
