Mother Nature decorated the southeast with snow and frost clinging to trees and bushes.

At A.D. Penner Park on Sunday afternoon, footprints were spotted throughout the park to indicate some of the favourite spots for nature photos.

The hill was also decorated with trails from toboggans, leading from the top of the hill all the way to the edge of the pond.

Bright orange cones have been placed around a section of the pond to caution pedestrians of soft ground and the nearby icy water.

Light snow will begin Sunday night and there’s a risk of freezing drizzle for Monday afternoon with a high near zero.

There are icy patches on the streets, sidewalks and parking lots. Roads also have a lot of slush.
