Bill North, Russ Patterson, Bruce North and Lionel Walz of the Carman Golf Club captured the Manitoba Senior Men's Rural Interclub championship on Friday in Minnedosa. The Carman foursome finished with a 227 total which was two strokes better than Barry Coffin, Donald Drew, Bill Christiansen and Keith Fawcett of Selkirk. Ben Funk, Dale Foreman, Denis Vassart and Len Eburne of Steinbach Fly-In Golf Club finished in 11th place with a 262 total. Bill Zeweniuk, Dave McLeod, Greg Kuleza and Roland Dupras of St. Boniface won the City Interclub title.
