| The Provincial Government is being asked to introduce legislation that will restrict novice drivers from using cell phones when driving. CAA feels the two don't mix. Spokesperson Jeanie Dalman believes there's merit to their case, pointing out one second of distraction when traveling 50 Kilometres an hour translates to 14 metres on the road. She notes a recent study shows 80% of crashes are caused by distraction. |
