Steinbach Community Christmas has been blessed by the generosity of our community, but they are still in need of financial donations.

They are currently putting together Christmas Food Hampers and preparing for Toys Days.

Roger Blatz from SCC explains why they need money.

“There are two semi-trailers of food going to show up first thing in December, and that food needs to be paid for.”

They are making sure all of these hampers are filled to the brim with good quality food, and that’s only possible with your support.

SCC has never fallen short thanks to the generosity of the community, but they want to remind you to come on out and keep giving.

“We’re not afraid. It's going to get paid for, it always does.”

SCC sent out more than 1,000 hampers last year, so let’s help them beat that number this year.

To donate, you can drop off money at the Food Bank, either cheque or cash, or you can donate on their website steinbachcommunitychristmas.com

Come see them at Canadian Tire on Toys Days for Community Christmas, and if you need to register for a hamper for either yourself or someone you know, do it before this week Wednesday, November 30th.

If you want to help deliver hampers, all you need to do is fill-out the delivery registration form on their website by December 1st.
