The doors will remain closed at the Jake Epp Library in Steinbach today.Head Librarian Loraine Trudeau says this is only the second time since she's been on staff that the library has shut down. But she says it's for a very good reason, they are upgrading the software at the library. This new software will allow patrons who have internet access to renew their own books, reserve books and search the collection at the library. Trudeau says it will really change the way people use the library. The library hasn't had a software update since it became automated back in 1995.
