A hockey coach from Sagkeeng First Nation has been charged with uttering threats to assault two teenage referees at a game involving ten-year-old hockey players in Ste. Anne in November.
The coach was arrested by Powerview RCMP.
The two refs were a 16-year-old male and 17-year-old male.

Now, this is an incident that obviously got WAY out of hand.
But on a regular basis, Hockey refs have to put up with a lot of yelling from coaches, players, fans and parents. Are we harder on hockey refs than in other sports?
