Henry Kasdorf, Peter Dick and Scott Masterson - 3 amazing southeastern Manitoba coaches - honoured at this past Saturday's "Coaching Manitoba Impact Awards".

AM1250's Michelle Sawatzky had the pleasure of hosting the awards brunch that took place on Saturday morning and what a thrill to see Southeastern Manitoba so well represented!

The Peter Dick Award for Coaching in the School System Category was won by Henry Kasdorf, Varsity Boys' volleyball coach at the Steinbach Regional Secondary School for years. Peter was a former coach of Henry's and what a special moment for them both.

Two other amazing coaches from southeastern Manitoba were nominated for awards. Scott Masterson, head coach of the Men's volleyball team at Providence University College was nominated for the Dr. Jack Hunt Memorial Award in the Learn to Train/Train to train category and Jamieson Krentz from baseball was nominated for the Peter Williamson Memorial Award in the Train to compete/Train to win category.

Congratulations to all of these coaches and THANK YOU for the countless hours and the passion you pour into the young athletes in our communities -- your contribution is SO appreciated and thankfully honoured this past weekend!!
