After nearly 14 years as being the Manitoba Regional Representative for the Canadian Foodgrains Bank, Harold Penner is moving into a new role with the agency which is fighting hunger worldwide. Over the years Harold has been a friend to the Morning Show and the Manitoba Farm Journal, making regular appearances to update us on Community Growing Projects, and what the Foodgrains Bank is up to.

And our friend is back today to chat with us about the change in his role, what he's experienced over his time and how Manitoba's farmers have stepped up to the plate to help the cause.

Harold also spoke to us about the passion Manitoba farmers have for Grow Projects and the C-F-G-B has led to significant growth during his 14 years with the group.

Harold will be moving into a newly created position that will have him providing support to regional staff and volunteers, as well as the Director of Resources and Public Engagement.

Good luck, Harold!
