Shirley Barca and Kevin Wieler came by the Morning Show to talk about a fun new way to bring in 2019 and support STARS at the same time.

"It's New Years Eve Masquerade Ball," Shirly said this morning. "It starts at 8:00 and even if you've had dinner by then, we're going to serve food all evening through. You get a free bottle of champagne at midnight, there's a dance band coming in, they do requests and you'll definitely want to be there."

Kevin added that it's not just a great option for those looking to have a good time and dance around, but for those also looking to support STARS Air Ambulance. "To be able to support STARS, especially with the roads the last little bit, we want to help them as much as we can and this is a way of doing it."

It's a new thing coming to Steinbach and Shirley say's there's quite the buzz. "People love the idea because it's so new and different. We're so excited it's going forward and the reception has been so positive."

Operation Red Nose will be in effect as well as they have a block of rooms reserved at Days Inn for anyone interested.

There's a couple ways to get tickets as Kevin explains. "There are several locations that sell. Harvest Insurance, Big Hair, Prarie Pickers Cafe and Sawney Beans. There's also a Facebook page New Years Masquerade In Steinbach."
