A Winnipeg Jets fan from the St. Adolphe area has taken his love for the team to a new level.

Arun Rebello has painted the words GO JETS GO on the side of his ring dike. Those three words cover an area that is 15 feet high by 80 feet long.

"I made it for the fighter jets," says Rebello. "Because they often circle overhead before they head to the city."

Rebello is referring to the fighter jets as they do their fly-over on game day.

The Winnipeg Jets host the Colorado Avalanche on Tuesday evening in game two of their series. Though the Jets won 7-6 in game one, Rebello is hoping game two will not be quite as close.

"With the close score it was definitely entertaining," he says. "But I'd like to see them have a safer lead."

Meanwhile, even if the Jets make a deep playoff run, Rebello says he is not sure that he can improve on his artwork.

"My wife would have something to say about me spending that much time painting my lawn," he jokes. "I may have to step it up, game day we all play."
