Steinbach RCMP caught two impaired drivers Sunday.

The first incident occurred at 2:30 a.m. on Highway #52 in the east end of Steinbach. Police say the driver had almost double the legal limit of alcohol in his system. A 40 year-old male from Piney was arrested and charged .

The second incident occurred at 9:12 p.m. RCMP report they were called to the scene of an accident where a vehicle had gone into the ditch along Highway #52 between Steinbach and La Broquerie. They say the female driver had nearly double the legal limit of alcohol in her system. A 39 year-old woman from Steinbach was arrested and charged.
