Menacing storm clouds moved through southeastern Manitoba Wednesday night but there are no reports of damage. There was a lot of lightning and thunder with rainfall amounts varying from 11 millimetres in Steinbach to 16 millimetres at Kleefeld and St. Pierre. One exception is St. Adolphe which received 64 millimetres or two and a half inches.

In western Manitoba, funnel clouds were spotted in three locations: Glenboro, Stockton and Margaret. Environment Canada says the only report of damage is a barn being destroyed at Stockton which is close to Wawanesa. Morden recorded a peak wind of 111 kilometres per hour and there are reports of wind damage around Morden, Winkler, Carman and Roland including downed trees and power lines.
