A man who drove drunk and caused a crash near Ste. Anne in June, 2012 that killed a man who was on his way to work has been given a prison sentence. 30 year-old Martin Jolicoeur received a sentence of two and-a-half years from Judge Vic Toews. He will also be banned from driving for three years when he's released.

22 year-old Robert Joubert died when his SUV was rear-ended while parked on the shoulder. Jolicoeur was going 170 kilometres per hour at the point of the collision.

Joubert's family says it is disappointed in the short sentence handed down by Judge Toews.
