The Steinbach Pistons Celebrity Golf Tournament took place Tuesday at Quarry Oaks Golf Course.

General Manager and Head Coach Paul Dyck says it's the biggest fundraiser of the year and they're thankful for the tremendous community support.

"It's tremendous and you certainly don't take it for granted," notes Dyck. "Just sat back and looked at the room and the people that are here and the corporate support that we've received, it's fantastic. Some of our new players and a player who is currently playing pro hockey, he's one of our celebrities, he made the remark, 'I've never seen anything like this.' We're very thankful for that and that's kind of what makes Steinbach special."

Dyck says there were alumni and pistons prospects that came out for the tournament. He notes he's thankful for the celebrities who are willing to jump on board and come to Steinbach to help support the team.
