Flowers mark the spot of Jaymar Bergen's death.

Tuesday is the memorial for Jaymar Bergen, the 17 year old from Steinbach killed in last week's horrific car crash. For staff at Youth For Christ Drop-In Centre the death of Jaymar has really hit close to home. Reuben Singh says many of the staff knew him and now want to help those grieving. Singh says immediately following the crash, he told his volunteers they need to be sensitive to the teens in the community by being there to walk with them and listen to their cries. Singh says the death has definitely been the topic of conversation the last week. He says there's a lot of disbelief, frustration and anger among the kids. Singh says if this had happened during the school year, there would have been grief counsellors brought in to the schools but because this happened during the summer months, Youth For Christ wants to be the shoulder to cry on or the listening ear for those suffering. Singh says staff will be attending the memorial Tuesday and will open the drop-in centre afterwards for teens needing a place to process their thoughts.
