A vehicle collided with a telephone pole near Oakbank Thursday afternoon.

At 2:15 PM RCMP were dispatched to the scene near the intersection of Springfield Road and Edgewood Road, 5 miles east of Oakbank 

Initial police reports indicate that the 17-year-old driver from Hazelridge may have sustained some injuries but those incurred did not appear to be life-threatening. The site was cleared in roughly an hour.

RCMP continue to investigate the cause.
