A Canadian soldier is happy to be back in Steinbach after serving in Afghanistan for 7 months.

22-year-old Tyson Chambers tells us it's an experience he has trouble describing to friends and family.  He faced gunfire and mortar attacks, while seeing some soldiers he personally knew, being carried away in caskets.  He says he doesn't have many nice stories from serving overseas.  While overseas he says they sometimes slept in cots, but near the end were sleeping outside on rocks.  Chambers' detachment is scheduled to return to Afghanistan in 2008, although he is unsure whether he will go back.  In the meantime he wants to spend time with family and then travel across Canada.
