Council for the RM of Hanover will allow an expansion at Northland Pork, northeast of Randolph.  Another two barns are set to go up.  The applicants appeared before council in early July requesting permission to expand their existing 8,000 feeder hog operation to 12,000.  Council has now approved that request.  Not one councillor voted against the motion.  One condition is that a synthetic cover be placed on the liquid cell.  The two extra barns will mean the lagoon will have to be expanded as well.
